Committees

Committees are formed by the Board of Directors to execute an approved charter for specific technical and advisory services. Recurring committees are required by our governing documents. Special committees can be formed at any time the Board perceives a need and votes to approve.
LOCHA has two recurring committees- the Financial Review Committee and the Nominating Committee. In addition, the board has appointed a Special Committee (Governance Improvement Committee) that is currently reviewing the LOCHA governing documents to make recommendations to the Board on updates and other changes (see Community News for more info). Committees are made up of LOCHA members that are appointed by the Board and serve until the Board determines that their objectives are achieved and their service is no longer required.
